All vehicles and drivers start off with the maximum rating of 5 stars. It is up to each company to maintain this rating as it does affect how rides are distributed.
In Arghon Transport rides are distributed in a proportional way, with very slight variations due to vehicle availability and driver and vehicle ratings.
**If a user's Arghon app is installed with a company code, the company code tilts the taxi ride distribution algorithm dramatically towards that company.
Note: These variations are under your control as the business owner.
An example of proportional distribution:
Company A has 2 vehicles.
Company B has 10 vehicles.
For every 10 rides assigned, company A receives approximately 20% and company B approximately 80%.
*A vehicle is considered available if it is assigned to a driver and the driver's status is shown as Available.
Companies with multiple vehicles that receive ride requests via phone generally have one or more dispatchers assigned to this task. The software does not limit the number of dispatchers or drivers a company can have.
For companies that only do on-street pick ups, a dispatcher is not needed to monitor the software. You should login at least once every-other-day to see if there are any items expiring or that have expired.
The company code is given to taxi drivers when they are installing the taxi driver app on their phone or tablet. It is the thing that binds the taxi driver app to a company.
Taxi drivers should give passengers their company code and encourage them to download and install the Arghon App.
The more passengers use the Arghon application the more taxi-rides they can order from these taxi companies, and the less they use ride-share.
NOTE:The company code allows the taxi dispatcher software to give preference to the assigned company code owner.
